BIO

Harper Ayers (#21) first got into softball after Covid shut down the dance and gymnastics studio she was attending, and once she tried local rec ball, she instantly fell in love with the game. She started in 10U rec before moving to travel ball with Ohio SlamForce for two years, later subbing with Storm, and now she’s excited to take on new challenges with her current team. Harper’s speed is one of her biggest strengths—whether it’s stealing bases, covering ground in the outfield, or staying quick in the pitcher’s circle—and she always brings a positive, never-give-up attitude. She proudly wears #21 in honor of her Aunt Alex, who was also a talented pitcher, and looks up to her parents for their constant encouragement. Harper has already earned multiple MVP awards at tournaments, which mean the most because they come from opposing coaches and teams recognizing her skills. While she plays multiple positions (3B, CF, and pitcher), she can’t pick a favorite because she loves them all. Outside of softball, Harper plays volleyball, runs track, and is a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Her goals are to keep growing with her team, push her pitching velocity to 60 mph, compete for a state championship in high school, and one day earn a college scholarship to continue playing the sport she loves.
