Bella Mattern (#12) got her start in T-ball and has been growing with the game ever since, always drawn to the competitive spirit that softball brings. She’s often been the youngest on her teams, which pushed her to rise to every challenge and build strong mental toughness—something she now uses to lift up and encourage her teammates. Bella’s primary positions are shortstop and pitcher, and while she enjoys both, she especially loves playing defense at short. A career highlight she’s most proud of is playing in the Little League World Series on ESPN two years in a row. Her biggest role models are her parents, who have supported and guided her every step of the way. Off the field, Bella also enjoys playing volleyball, but her main goals are to continue growing as a player, play softball in college, and keep pushing herself against tough competition to bring out her very best.
