BIO
Abby Jacobson (#98) started playing softball at a young age and quickly fell in love with the energy, thrill, and challenge of the game. Her journey hasn’t been without obstacles—she’s faced tough coaching, toxic teammates, and difficult environments—but overcoming those challenges has made her mentally stronger and more confident than ever. Abby’s primary position is shortstop, but she also loves pitching, and she prides herself on her athleticism and willingness to go after every ball, knowing that one big play can lift the entire team’s energy. Inspired by her role model Jordy Bahl, Abby pushes herself to be both a strong pitcher and hitter while also being a great teammate. One of her proudest achievements is joining her current team, where she feels surrounded by skilled, kind, and encouraging players who share her passion for the game. Off the field, Abby enjoys swimming, cleaning and organizing, and playing with her cats. Her goals this season include improving her slapping from the left side, increasing her pitching velocity, and keeping her energy high every game, while her long-term dream is to play at the college level and inspire younger girls the same way she was inspired watching softball on TV.
